Healthy Altitudes

Happy and Healthy Altitudes to you.

Whether you’re just starting out in the middle of the pack or you’re starting a new adventure up a mountain to challenge yourself and see if you can push the limits. No matter what, having health and fitness like an athletic dog or an athletic person playing with your best friend is so important to maintaining quality of life. As you bend, as you flex, as you extend, as you jump, as you run, as you swim, all these things are so important for our everyday life. These activities of daily living to climb up things, whether it’s fast or slow, or whether you fall or not, you still have to get back up and get back down safely. Whether you flip over once or whether you flip over again, no matter what, you have to get back up and try it again. It’s not just about beating the other person. It’s about being a better person yourself. Being a better person for those around you, being someone who’s strong enough to support yourself, and then you can help all those around you to be active and have fun while you’re getting it done. Taking on that new challenge of balance is sometimes hard, but it’s all the same. Even if you’re flipping and spinning, the balance we use is the same as pro athletes use. We have the same muscles. We don’t have to do the same extremes that they do, but we can do a little bit more to improve our balance in life, whether it’s on a slack line for our fitness, for our health. And if we can keep that balance, we’ll finish strong. We’ll finish happy with those around us that we love. And we can remember to be active, eat well, and stay happy, not just today and tomorrow, but for your life.
