Hey, happy and healthy altitudes to you. It’s been a hot minute since I made the weekly reboot and I feel a little bad about that. So, I’m making a new reboot and today’s reboot is about what matters. And I put this shirt on today and I thought, you know, it’s an interesting thing to think about because matter is a matter of fact. Matter is something that in science it’s stuff, right? of matter are what make up bigger things. Um, and so when you think about what matters in your life, there’s really a few things that are most important, right? Your health, your happiness, your family, your job, your friends. There’s some things that are really important, but what I try to break it down into is three things. Be active, eat well, and stay happy. And I haven’t been on to make these weekly reboots because I’ve been trying to be active with my family and all the things that matter. Trying to get out, climb some 14ers, try to eat well, making homemade ravioli. I made an amazing sheetpan chicken dish the other night. Why do these things matter to you? Well, they matter to you because they matter to all of us. And my goal is always to help people find ways to be active, eat well, and stay happy. And it matters to me so that you can be healthier. And that’s what really matters. I want you to be healthier. I want you to be happier. I want you to be successful. So, I’m going to put that chicken sheetpan recipe with this weekly reboot. As you go into this week, think about the things that really matter to you. Making these videos isn’t as important to me as working with clients one on-one and helping them see results. Working with my family to climb big mountains. Those are the things that really matter. And putting your mind to work to do the hard things, right? Like my shirt says. And so, if it don’t matter to you, it don’t matter to me. It don’t matter to other people. There’s even a cool song about it. And so I’m going to try to remember to put these weekly reboots on every week because it does matter to me to help provide resources for you to be active, eat well, and stay happy. So today’s reboot, figure out what matters. The little things might matter. The little things can add up to bigger things. Just like scientific matter, little atoms can build up to bigger things. Um, but also the bigger things can make those little things not always work well. So, what matters to you? Eating well, being active, staying happy, all three. There’s always a balance between them. So, think about all those different things. Um, try to enjoy cooking well. I’ll give you a recipe you can test out. And, uh, and don’t beat yourself up if you don’t get that goal this week. That doesn’t always matter. Sometimes what matters is more getting up and doing it again. I wasn’t even on for two months. I feel a little bad. Like I said, I’m going to take ownership of that. I’m not going to pretend to be perfect. Nobody’s perfect, right? Life gets in the way. Uh just like people say, I don’t have time to exercise. Life gets in their way. Well, life got in my way and I didn’t make these videos. So, own that life gets in the way. But don’t use that as an excuse. Move on from that, right? Do those things that really matter inside you in your core. What matters it should really come back to be active, eat well, and stay happy. Do the things that help you feel those three components to the fullest degree. And hopefully in the end, you’ll be healthier and you’ll be happier. Maybe even you’ll be able to live a little bit longer. And uh and that’s the goal, right? So thinking about those three things, be active, eat well, and stay happy. Not just today, but for those things that matter, for those people around you that matter, and most importantly, for your life.
