Tried these pretzels today. We were on lockdown since the little one was napping and I really wanted a pretzel and we couldn’t drive to the store to buy one. Turns out, we saved money, time, and made this healthier than we could buy at the store. They were a hit with both girls (3 and 5) and my wife. My 5 year old and I made these from scratch and they were simple, soft, flavorful and delicious. We made about 6 medium sized pretzels but added a little extra flour and water because we live at Healthy Altitudes in Colorado. We also used whole wheat flour and bread flour because that’s all that was left. I highly recommend these and I am very thankful for Sally’s recipe.
They only took about 30-40 minutes from start to end. I am looking forward to the cinnamon sugar ones next.
